Visit to TURKMAN GATE

We , The students of Heritage club went to Turkman Gate on 3rd of Dec. It was an exciting day for all of us as we came to know about new interesting facts. Delhi has been initiated by seven gates. One of them is Turkman Gate. We saw Chandni mahal, Sheesh mahal and Rang mahal. The bricks used in olden times were called Rakhori Bricks. Tradition of most of the people was Miniature Painting. Till now people of Chandni Chowk read Urdu Newspapers. It was an adventurous trip for all of us. At the end we entered a Masjid. For Muslims Masjids are like temples. They Preach and read their Holy Book Quran Sahib. We learnt that “India shall become Immortal if people live in Harmony.”
